I've replaced my cab corners, lower cowls and lower door panel and I am having a hard time getting rid of some pin holes in my seam weld I have adjusted my welder every possible way and grinded probably too much!! and now I get burn throughs. Will using fiberglass or bondo to seal those holes be a good idea? Their is no rust behind these holes but, I just want some experience or knowledgeable advice? Can some one offer some advice? Thanks, Tha Rookie!!!Forums : Body : Fiberglass/Bondo (1242 Views)

A Tiger hair salution again. after sanding, thin coat of bondo for shaping then glazing compound. You are good to go.UHH, areas are already sanded of projected area and then some for blending the contooring and painting I hope.
Forgot. On technique for tiger hair, small amount and place on shiny side of wax paper and apply and don't move the papter, otherwise you will be sanding sand dunes. Just make it small and thin and apply and press. the tiger hair will mueshe .
(conversations going on)
Keep wax paper taut and rigid to semi rigid material to hold it into place. Once on, don't try to perfect it, It will only ripple the paper and tiger hair. Like painting on canvas
