September 10, 2006The guy told me the process is copper, nickel and then chrome. Theres no such thing as triple chrome. If you chrome on chrome, it will blister and peel. If you leave it the plating tank longer, you'll burn the chrome and it looks like aluminum spray paint. The key is the nickel. You can leave it in the nickel tank longer giving you a deeper shinier chrome appearance when the chrome goes on.
