I currently have stock width split-rims on my '50 Chevy 3/4 ton pickup, running wide whitewalls (new - less than 50 miles). Really like a more custom wheel, and like a lot of the factory setups (from the suburban, etc.). Anyone know where to start figuring out what will fit? I know I will have a tie rod end problem with the left front, but I want a more retro-rod look, if that makes sense. Seems like there are a lot of "take offs' especially around here with kids and new trucks. Would seem a set of tires/wheels could be reasonable if I can find factory's that will work (and look good). ot too worried about stance right now - just a better look and better tire width. Help?
