August 10, 2006Hello this is my first classic that I am working on. I wanted to ask if anyone know what spindles I can use for my 62 chevy truck? I was told that I can use the spindles of a 1972 chevy truck and that they would bolt right on. If anyone can give me ifo it would be super. Thanks again

September 10, 2006I just got my '62... I want to swap out the front drums REAL fast! (all 4 if I had the )
I've seen a $395 Front Disc Conversion in LMC and 'TruckAndCarShop' but you'll need spindles, booster/master cyl etc.
Anyone have any info on Front Brake conversions / Front end swaps?
September 11, 2006Check out the products from Classic Performance Products and No Limit Engineering. Both have complete kits.
September 11, 2006I have seen those kits. But I was hoping to save some money if I could fit the spindles of another truck. I just heared again last week some guy told me 1972 chevy truck spindles will bolt on the 1962. But I am not sure at all. How can I put the picture of my truck under my name??
September 11, 2006Not sure about the spindles sorry but to put a picture under your name go to gallery at the top of the page and choose pictures above where it shows your info. Finally under the actual pictures click make featured photo under the one you want to use. Hope this helps you. Later
September 12, 2006Hey Thanks for the help with my picture. It did work. Man both of you guys with the 62 chevy's are nice. Hope I can get mine like that soon. The picture I put up was when I first bought it. Looks a little better now. Thanks Again for all your help guys.
