September 21, 2005I thought I was the only one left that still likes chrome reverse and slotted aluminum wheels. I still have a couple sets of my own. I don't know if anyone is still making them or not, I haven't seen any new ones in a while. There are some used ones on e-bay right now. I didn't see any for the 5 on 5.5 pattern to fit Ford trucks, but there are a couple sets for the 5 on 4.5 pattern to fit most Ford and Dodge cars.
February 8, 2006i dunno ive got a set for my 76 chev 1/2 ton theyre good rims.theyre heavy but they look really good if u buff and polish them they gleam like u wouldnt believe.
February 8, 2006Do a search on google or yahoo under the wheel manufacture you like, such as Cragar -- by far one of the most popular vintage style wheels. You will find that today they make the original five spoke, but all the way up to a 22x10 instead of just the 14 and 15 inchers.
February 8, 2006Might be able to get you a set off some old parts trucks. 5 on 5 1/2 ???
think they are 15 x 8" wheels. they will need to be repolished. will know friday evening! will get back to you.
If you drove a Ford you wouldn`t need a good wrench!!
