Does anyone have any experience with the various roll on beadliner brands. I was considering doing about 2 gallons of the cheap stuff from WalMart at ~$40 a gallon. Does this stuff last?Forums : Aftermarket : Roll On bedliner material (3200 Views)

i used hurculiner(sp?) on my f-150, and its ok. make sure you prep it really good.June 29, 2003
I prefer "Rhinoliner" professionally done! Approx $400, but is the best s--t for bedliners! The last bedliner you'll ever buy! Check it out at http://www.rhinolinings.com/Supposedly someone is opening one up at 207 Austinville Rd. SW in Decatur, the closest one is 26 miles away in Huntsville! And yes, It is awesome, You can throw 100# feed bags into the back of a classic or new truck, and it doesn't phase it one bit, ask that of a plastic liner!

I used Linex on my F150, love that stuff!June 30, 2003
Thanks for all the input. I have checked some of those options and they range from $100 to $400. I was trying to see if someone has used the cheap stuff and had it peel off in a year or if it held up. I think I will go with the cheap stuff as I am on a short budget.June 30, 2003
Check out Durabak. www.durabak.com My friend painted his 67 Wagoneer with it a couple of years ago, and its still holding up. In Arizona nonetheless!

Never done the one's you do yourself, but I do have Line-X in my '95 F150 and that liner is awesome.July 5, 2003
My brother used the kind that you do yourself on his F150 and it has held up pretty good from what i have seen. Although his looks kind of faded, don't know if the line-x or rhino linings fade or not. If it were me and i planned on keeping the truck for awhile then i would go ahead and shell out the cash for a rhino or line-x. As soon as i save up a little im going with one of those two.July 5, 2003
I've not experienced rhino fading much over 10 years, I think it's mostly slightly dirty. I believe it is warrenteed as well.

I know that the line-x has a lifetime guarenteeJuly 7, 2003
A buddy of mine had the whole cargo area of his work van sprayed, I wish I did that. Just a cool idea ( for a panel truck)!

I had a 77 GMC that I got from a friend. He had put a cheapo roll on in the bed. When I sold it, the liner had been on the truck for about 6 years. No chips or peeling. I don't know the brand. He got it at a Kragen Auto Parts store in Cali. FYIBryan
