March 8, 2006Noticed that Spray Can Larry is on, and 85% of this post is due to his work. I started on my 56 less than 2 1/2 years ago and it is getting down to the little things (well the A/C isn't in yet). Larry noticed my rear fenders were trembling at idle. The stock braces did not fit with the Pros Pick bed so we fashioined new ones from conduit tubing supplied by Jeff. Measured the lengths to 14 inches, smashed the ends in a vise, rotating the tubing to create angles to match the mating surfaces. Nylock nuts, washers and 1/4 inch bolts and some flat black paint finished the job. No more trembling fenders and the braces look great!

March 8, 2006Jeff told me about the innovation taking place on Sunday. Do we need to market this idea or sell them on ebay. $$ Remember those chopper guys had some good ideas also.
